We’re building the reader we wanted.
The pile of unread books on our nightstands kept growing. Articles we saved “for later” rotted in tabs. Audiobooks fixed half the problem — but only for books somebody else picked.
What we believe
- 📖 Reading should fit into the cracks of your day — the train, the walk, the dishes, the bedtime wind-down.
- 🎤 Synthetic voices should sound like people, not robots. Anything less makes you wish you were reading.
- 🔒 Your library is yours. What you upload stays private to your account. Always.
- 💸 Honest pricing.If a tier doesn’t fit your reading habit, the next tier should — not the next $50.
Where we’re going
Today: a web reader and an Android beta. Soon: an iOS app, better cross-device handoff, smarter chapter detection, and a voice library that keeps growing as new TTS models ship.
Long term: the place you put anything you want to listen to — books, articles, lecture notes, your own writing — and hand to a reader that fits the moment.
Who we are
Aureader is built by Aura Intelligence SL, a small Spanish company. We’re based in Spain, our servers live in the EU, and we’re GDPR-aligned by default.
Founder, designer, and engineer — currently the same three hats on the same head. If you want to talk to a human, that human is support@aureader.com.
